Changing tactics - thoughts post merge

Well there ya go, leave the forts to the zerganauts and their 4 FPS.

I partially agree, I also would like to point out that I think we should try to be positive at all times, QQ is a waste of energy, we do however need to be realistic aswell.

When it comes to pvp there are a lot of different factors involved, level, skill, character skills, gear, class, etc. at higher levels and i mean 45+ the level difference gets unimportant, the skill get equal aswell, since most players at these levels gained a lot of personal pvp exp. the gear factor gets more important at higher levels.

The ely captured all lower and all upper forts first, this basically means every ely on spatalos will get 30-40k free AP, with this they can buy a simply green or blue pvp armor set, did i mention this was free ? so even the lower lvl pvp will be affected.

The ely now have the abbility to do all the fortress instances, 30-45minutes each and still farm in the abyss all afternoon.
It will hardly make the feared youyou or behappy ely teams any stronger since they had full gold already, but all those lvl 45+ upcoming ely will benefit from it greatly, they will be able to gear up (gold pvp) much faster then their asmo brothers and sisters, this will most likely influence fortress battles in the future, it will be harder to regain the fortresses every day they manage to keep control.

Every time the divine fortress is vunerable the ely try to take it, just like they did a few days before the merge its only a matter of days till they succeed, they deserve it aswell, they plan and work together, something the asmodians seem to fail in for some reason.

I'd rather see some kind of grouping and no QQ'ing with the asmos to take the forts. Not because we don't really need them, but having the forts makes life less expensive, which is especially helpfull for the newbies.

Less tax equals less money needed to get things or go somewhere, and that can really help on the leveling, and the more newbies that like it, the better.

I know it's easier said than done, but there has got to be some way to start organizing Asmo's better, no? There's rotten appels sure, but not everyone is as bad as most, if you can just get enough people together in one alliance that actually listen to their leader and the tactics, things could change for the better.

The only real problem is getting the right people for it, we can start out with legion, but, we're not with enough to really go for a full alliance, what about getting likeminded people together throughout the official forums? Things like that, we need to reach out towards those that want to make a change and just ignore the ones that keep bitching about losing.

Now I know that as a low lvl I can't really contribute, but I'm working on it, I want to be able to get some niece siege pvp going when I hit that final mark, and there's no time like the present to start working on it.

My theory on sieges is all about lag and FPS. With the numbers of Ely turning up it's near impossible to do anything. That means we have to get there first - into the generals room with as many as possible and hopefully out-lag them.
Imagine 300 Asmo in generals room doing "Aion boogie"

I have yet to experience lag in this game, did have one spike when the merge was just done, but afterwards nothing, not even in primus with all the asmos still there...Haven't seen a siege yet though, but still, for raids,...You can always turn down your grafix
