About Me

What's up everyone, the name is Christian but everyone knows me by my online alias EpicNightTerror. I am a freelance GFX Designer & Admin.

I have been doing gfx work for around 4 or 5 years on and off, mostly off. I do it purely for fun and learning purposes, and offer to assist anyone else by providing free gfx. After all I'm still a student how can I charge for anything less then perfect? I do allot of signature images, it's what got me started and where I've always thrived. I'm admittingly weak at original designs like logos although I push myself to become better. I've recently started to focus on rendering which people say that I'm pretty good at, I wouldn't mind improving more.

As for the Admin part of my life, I've been doing it steadily for way longer then I've been a GFX artist, I was around 11 or 12 when I was first promoted to moderator for my outstanding work in helping members at a fansite of several thousand. It's there that I got my first real taste of what it was like to help people and be staff at an online community. I was eventually placed at a temp admin after which I went freelance and have helped out with managing hundreds of sites over the years. I've done just about anything you can think of from small start ups to well established communities with thousands of members registered. I've led gaming sites, fansites, RPGs, Music, and writers groups. These experiences have left me with a decent understanding of how to properly maintain and establish a successful community and the single most important word of advice I can give to anyone starting up a website is that your members always come first, and even when they're wrong they're right. You don't want to play the villain or take sides it's your job to be the moderator and keep everyone happy.
